The Kent Scientific Isometric Transducers have become a standard in research laboratories around the world.
The isometric transducers are used on the smallest tissue strips and rings （100 ìm dia） in our myographs to very large preparations.
True isometric operation with rectilinear transducer action and micrometer flexure displacement provides fidelity in measuring forces and excellent sensitivity even in the lowest ranges. The transducer operates on the principle of differential capacitance, which is extremely accurate and stable. An integral preamplifier, pre-calibrated in our laboratory, provides a direct high level signal for A/D convertors or chart recorders. Easy controls allow instant setup and use. No lengthy calibration procedures are required, saving valuable laboratory time. Pre-calibrated ranges of the TRN001 & TRN002 are 2, 10, and 20g, and the TRN011 & TRN0012 are 10, 50, 100g.
The Kent Isometric Transducer is available with base or stacking amplifiers. The TRN001 amplifier has a power supply and a power bus connector. The TRN002 amplifiers stack on and plug into the TRN001 providing a compact “tower” of amplifiers, all operating from one wall outlet.
