The Bovine Parainfluenza 3 (PI3) ELISA Kit is an ELISA kit for serodiagnosis of bovine Parainfluenza 3 (PI3) in cattle. This indirect test is used to follow seroconversions in paired sera or milk samples. The use of highly purified PI3 virus enables excellent specificity and reliable results. The test uses Protein G, which recognizes most immunoglobulin isotypes, for detection. The test is fast and easy to use with minimal hands-on-time.
Samples are incubated in microtiter plates coated with purified, inactivated PI3 virus. Bound antibodies are detected using peroxidase-labeled Protein G. Binding is visualized by a colorimetric reaction after the addition of the substrate.
