The 5 channel Main AmplifierFilter System MAF-05 was designed to complete the 5 channel Mini Microelectrode Manipulator System (Mini Matrix)  to get a complete recording setup for extracellular recording in the central nervous system.

The MAF-05 is equipped with a 5 channel Single-Unit-Activity-Main Amplifier Filter, a 5 channel window discriminator, an electrode impedance test unit, an audio monitor and a multiplexer unit housed in a 19 inch rack-mountable cabinet with integrated power supply module.

So each device that is required for extracellular neurophysiological recordings is integrated in one cabinet. One only has to connect a data acquisition system (also available from Thomas RECORDING) and an oscilloscope and the recording setup is ready for use!
