描述
Recombinant human PD1 protein aa1-160 was produced in mammalian cells with C-terminal DYK tag. The theoretical molecular weight of recombinant PD1 is 16.6 kDa. Purified PD1 protein is near the position of 34 kDa on SDS-PAGE gel under reduced condition.
PD1 protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

This gene encodes a cell surface membrane protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein is expressed in pro-B-cells and is thought to play a role in their differentiation. In mice, expression of this gene is induced in the thymus when anti-CD3 antibodies are injected and large numbers of thymocytes undergo apoptosis.
